Dress & Neck piece- Samprada | Rosary -Gifted | Shoes -Truffle | Clutch - Old
Places that seem free of restrictions and just about right during location scouting unnecessarily become the most difficult places to shoot. I have always wondered why the local crowd gets paranoid when they see someone with a camera. From security guards shooing us away while in the middle of the shoot, people stopping their vehicles to see what’s going on and weird stares of the passers-by- I’ve experienced it all. Shooting this post unsurprisingly was challenging too when the caretaker of the place just refused to let our camera inside. However, we somehow managed to sneak it in and got some quick shots, not in the places I had planned though.

Featured in this post is this asymmetrical dress and a black neckpiece. Samprada
is a store that showcases clothes for modern women with an Indian touch. The store believes in the
idea of preserving the textile heritage of the country using the art of hand
block printing. I love how the prints have been blended into western wear giving
the garments a fusion feel. The store has everything from easy breezy dresses
for summers, scarves in beautiful prints, summer jackets to interesting jewelry
and knick-knacks. Do check out their website and Facebook page to browse through
their collection. You are sure to find a lot of stuff for the season.
